Jodi Plavner is a partner in WolfBlock's
Employment Services Group She represents and advises clients with
respect to equal employment opportunity issues, workplace safety concerns,
employee discipline, and employee policy and benefits matters.
Ms. Plavner spends a significant amount of time conducting employee and
supervisory training for clients across the country. Training topics include
sexual harassment and general diversity issues, hiring and recruiting
pitfalls, performance management and discharge practices, the interplay
between the FMLA, ADA and workers' compensation, FLSA minefields, drug
and alcohol testing, and OSHA compliance. Ms. Plavner also has conducted
numerous educational seminars for The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business
and Industry, Mid-Atlantic Employers' Association, Medical Group Management
Association, National Business Institute, Lorman Education Services and
the ADP Institute for Educational Excellence.
