COURSE DESCRIPTION: Even though recordkeeping is essential to a safer workplace – and required by OSHA – it isn’t exactly the stuff that motivates people to get out of bed and come to work every day. Keeping spotless records, conducting timely incident investigations and writing pinpoint accurate reports can seem like little more than a bureaucratic, administrative headache.
So what’s the secret to getting those involved with safety to really care about recordkeeping and timely, accurate reporting? How to you get your people to learn the rules, follow them consistently and embrace reporting as a high-value activity?
This audio conference program, featuring safety expert Jack Fearing of Aon Risk Service, will answer those questions and more. Jack’s approach is to help people see that recordkeeping is really about improving your performance … and about meeting OSHA requirements. Timely, accurate reporting of incidents and collection of other loss data has a higher purpose … to help you identify trends, establish meaningful metrics and prevent future injuries.
