He is the founder of Practical Safety Solutions, LLC, a firm that provides safety solutions for Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, Emergency Planning, Incident Investigation, Lockout / Tagout, Machine Guarding and Process Safety.
Mark's experience includes safety positions with a premier pharmaceutical company, a major chemical company as well as safety positions in consulting and on major projects for an international construction company. In addition, Mark holds a faculty appointment at the University of New Haven, School of Public Safety and Professional Studies, Occupational Health and Safety Department. He is a Certified Safety Professional in Comprehensive Practice.
Mark has a master's degree in occupational safety and health management, a graduate certificate in industrial hygiene and a bachelor's degree in biology. He is a certified firefighter as well as a hazardous materials trainer.
