 Frequently asked questions:
What is an audio conference/webinar?
An audio conference, sometimes called a webinar, is a live training presentation conducted via the internet and telephone. Participants log-on and dial-in at a designated time to hear the speaker over the phone and view the PowerPoint presentation on their computer screen.
They are considered the most cost-effective form of training because 1) you can invite as many colleagues as you’d like to listen in on a single phone line via speakerphone; 2) you incur no travel expenses; and 3) employees are back at work immediately after the session ends.

How do audio conferences work?
During the week of the conference, you'll receive by email a web link that will provide the information you need to join the conference. Two emails will be sent. The first should arrive 48 hours prior to the conference, the second the morning of the conference.

How do I join a conference that I registered for?
You will receive two "Reminder emails" prior to the conference. The first will arrive 48 hours prior to the event, the second, the morning of the event.
In each of these emails you will find a link. Approximately ten minutes before the conference start time, click the link. This will take you to a web page where you will be prompted to enter your name and email address. Once you have entered that information, click the "Join" button.
A grey box will pop up providing you with: 1) the phone number to dial in; 2) your Training Session Number and 3) your Attendee ID. IMPORTANT: You will need all three of these pieces of information to connect to the conference.
Next, dial the number provided and you will be prompted to enter the the Training Session Number followed by "#" and your Attendee ID followed by "#" on your telephone keypad.
Once you're connected to the audio (telephone) portion of the program, you can click "OK" on your computer screen to close the grey box. You will see a screen that says "Your conference will begin momentarily." (If you dial in late, you will join the program in progress.)
